Why call Stat Housecalls instead of going to the ER or Urgent Care?
There is a world of difference in service between Stat Housecalls and those traditional options:

- We bring world-class doctors directly to your home, hotel, office, or wherever you need us
- Our care is prompt, convenient, private, and of the highest quality

- Flu shots, vaccines, and medications for international travel
- Prescriptions can usually be filled on the spot
What are your fees?
Fees for a house call consultation and evaluation are $395 (USD) for a standard visit and $595 (USD) for complex visits (laceration repair, intravenous medications, etc.). These fees include all treatments, medications, supplies, and prescription medications that we carry with us. We carry prescription medications for many common problems. If you need a prescription for a medication that we do not carry with us we are happy to write it but filling and paying for the medications will be your responsibility. There is a nighttime surcharge of $200 for any house calls between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am. And if you are outside our area of service a fee may be assessed for the doctor's travel time. All fees must be paid at the time of service and all major credit cards are accepted.
What are your house call plans for businesses?
Urgent house calls, unrushed service, and unrivaled quality are hallmarks of Stat Housecalls business plans.
Our business plans are fully customizable and include the following services:

- Unlimited or pre-defined in-person house calls at a negotiated rate.
- No charge for any necessary medications that we carry
- No charge for any necessary prescriptions
- No charge for any basic supplies needed to treat a patient during a visit
Please contact us for more details. Every business is different and Stat Housecalls can be as flexible as needed to accomodate your company.
Do you take insurance?
Due to our commitment to provide personalized care of the highest quality, and because of the complex laws and rules that govern the insurance industry we are unable to bill your insurance directly. We are happy to provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Our fees are generally much less than a comparable ER or Urgent Care visit. If convenience and quality are factored in, the choice becomes more obvious.
In addition, we are unable to legally see patients who are enrolled in Medi-care or Medi-cal at this time. We are working on a solution to this problem and appreciate your patience as we search for an answer. Medi-care and Medi-cal laws are among the most complex in the insurance industry and limit the kind of services that enrolled patients can receive even if the patient chooses to pay for the services themselves. Please stay tuned, we are hopeful that we will eventually be allowed to provide house calls to anybody who requests them.
Is it private?
Yes. We respect your privacy and offer the utmost in discretion to everyone from our neighbors next door to our highest profile patients.
Do you provide vaccinations or flu shots?
We provide flu shots and pneumonia vaccines for individuals, groups, and businesses for an additional fee. We also provide vaccinations and medications for international travel.
Are your physicians available for special events?
Our outstanding physicians and nurses are also available for special events and conventions for the day or longer as needed. Please contact us for more details.
I'd feel more comfortable if there was a female present during the housecall visit. Is that possible?
Absolutely. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible with the process. We are happy to accommodate our female patients by having a female team member present during the visit. If you have any particular concerns we will do our best to help make the experience as easy and comfortable as possible for you.
What if I need hospitalization?
We are capable of treating a wide range of conditions on an outpatient basis. However, if after the evaluation you require further care or hospitalization, we will work closely with you to expedite the care that may be needed.
Are you ever closed?
We strive to have a physician available whenever you need one. Due to the uncertainties of physician availability and the volume of patients on a particular day there will be times when we are delayed or even unavailable but those times are rare.
Can I call Stat Housecalls and use my Health Care Saving Account?
Yes. Stat Housecalls physician visits are appropriate for any Health Care Savings Account plan.
What geographical areas do you serve?
We are based in Manhattan Beach, CA. We currently serve the South Bay area of Los Angeles and the surrounding communities. We can often accommodate special requests, just call us.
